She is the beloved wife of Alexander Coman, who survives, for 61 years.  She is the devoted mother of Eugene and adoring grandmother of Benjamin, Laurence, and Gregory, all of whom survive. A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25th.  Memorial donations may be made to the French institute Alliance Francaise, New York City in memory of Colette Coman.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY.   A memorial mass will be held at St Margaret of Cortona on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 9:45am followed by entombment at Saint Raymond Cemetery – Our Lady of Hope Cremation Garden, Bronx NY. A mass of Christian burial will be offered at the O’Connor Residence Chapel located at 5655 Arlington Avenue, Bronx, NY at 10 AM Thursday July 19, 2018. His remains will privately be interred in St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to continue the excellent care provided to his fellow retired priests at the Edward Cardinal Egan Pavilion 5655 Arlington Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471.
