Nicole Josephine Gaine passed away on June 27, 2018 . She was born on November 1, 1983. She was a native of Inwood, NYC. She graduated New York University with honors and lived on the upper west side. She was smart, witty, hilariously funny, loved music, books, movies, and all of her family and friends.
Nicole is the loving daughter of Peggy Dubner and her husband Alan; her father James Gaine and his wife, Sonnia. Her grandmothers, Peggy Lisse and Joan Gaine. Her aunts Cathy and Patricia and her late uncle, John. She was predeceased by her most loving grandfather, John Lisse, who thought she was brilliant and was the apple of his eye. She is survived by her brother, Michael; sisters Sonya and Johanna, and her many step brothers and sisters; Sally, Stephanie, Erica, Crystal, Jonathan, Matthew, Heather, and Melanie and all of their children. She was loved and cherished by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, great aunts and uncles and friends.

Reposing Monday July 2nd from 5-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, at West 261st Street, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10 am at Good Shepherd Church. Committal is private.
