Owusu Osafo Kissi

June 12, 2026 Jeffrey Wiecek

In Loving Memory of

Owusu Osafo Kissi

September 25, 1951 ~ June 12, 2026

Owusu Osafo Kissi was born on September 25, 1951, in Nkawkaw, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He lived a life defined by dedication, perseverance, and service to both his family and community.

Throughout his professional life, Mr. Kissi distinguished himself through hard work and leadership. He served as a Regional Bank Manager in Ghana before relocating to the United States, where he worked as an Accountant for an entertainment agency. He later spent many years as a Transportation Professional, serving his community with pride and commitment.

Owusu was a devoted husband and family man. He shared more than forty years of marriage with his beloved wife, Asantewah Darko Mensah, whose memory he cherished following her passing on October 1, 2021. Together, they built a loving family and a legacy that continues through future generations.

He is survived by his two sons, Richard Ampadu Kissi and William Nyamekye Kissi, who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life.

He also leaves behind his seven cherished grandchildren: Isaiah, Saslaya, Kamari, Mona, Brandy, Lilac, and Moss, along with numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his kindness, wisdom, and generosity.

Owusu will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong work ethic, unwavering devotion to his family, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His life was a testament to perseverance, integrity, and love.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Forever remembered. Forever loved. Forever missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
