Santiago Rafael Garcia De Jesus

March 31, 2026 Jeffrey Wiecek

Santiago "Santi" Rafael Garcia De Jesus passed away on March 31, 2026. He was a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Santiago is survived by his children, Amelia and Titan; his mother and father; his siblings, and his extended family.

He graduated from Pleasantville High School in 2008, an achievement made possible through his determination and the support of those who believed in him, including the Glass family. Shortly after, Santiago joined the Marine Reserve, where he embraced the challenge and took great pride in completing his training.

A lifelong learner, Santiago was always seeking new opportunities to grow. He traveled the world, earned certifications, and continuously worked to better himself. He found meaning in helping others and cared deeply for the people in his life.

Santiago will be remembered for his good heart, kind soul, and larger-than-life personality. He was a complex man with undeniably good intentions, someone who was deeply loved and appreciated by many. Those who knew him often speak of his compassion, generosity, and the genuine care he showed to others.

Though his journey was not without its challenges, Santiago’s impact on the lives around him is lasting. His presence will be greatly missed.

May he finally be at peace.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Committal will private.
