Grace Celine Lafferty (née McKinney) 88 passed away peacefully into eternal life on October 12, 2021. Native of Bootagh, Co. Donegal, Ireland was born to William and Grace (née O'Donnell). She was the devoted wife of the late Bernard "Brian" for 59 years. Loving mother to Sarah (Jim) Barile. Adoring grandmother to Stephen, David, and Elizabeth. Cherished sister to Rose, Kathleen, Lily, Seamus, Bridgeen, Agnes, and the late Sr. Margret Mary, Mary Agnes, Donal, Liam, and Eileen. She was quick to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kind, gentle, and caring soul will be dearly missed.
Reposing Sunday, Oct. 17th 2021 from 2-5 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Oct. 18th, 10:30 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, Bronx, NY. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
