Kleopatra Kati

February 14, 2026 Jeffrey Wiecek

Kleopatra Kati, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, with her loved ones by her side.

Born in Nokove- Gjirokaster, Albania, and a resident of New York for thirty years, she lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.  She had a sweet and gentle soul, fond of helping people and quick to support others.  She was cheerful and had an optimistic outlook towards things & happenings, with the ability to focus on love, peace & harmony.

She was the wife of the late Gligor (Gole) Kati, who served in the US Army and is a WW2 Veteran.  Their relationship was a beautiful model of unconditional and immense love and support for each other in their joyous and difficult times.

She is survived and will be missed by her son, Spiro Kati, her daughter, Dhurata Ekonomi & her husband, Llambi, and her brother, Thanas Piu & wife Kostandina.  She was a proud grandmother to Redi Ekonomi & his wife, Anja and Ola Ekonomi.  She was also cherished by her great grandson, Conrad Ekonomi.

She is also survived by her nephews and niece, who loved her and brought a lot of joy.

Family & friends are cordially invited to the visiting hours held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 9:00-11:00 am.  Burial will follow immediately at Oakland Cemetery.
