It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kristyna Lee Hoffmann, age 34, who passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 14, 1991, Kristyna was a bright light to all who knew her, known for her warmth, and unwavering strength.
Kristyna's radiant spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of many. Whether she was spending time with her family, or supporting her friends, she had an ability to make every moment meaningful. Kristyna had a deep love for life and carried herself with a vivacity that inspired all who crossed her path.
Kristyna is survived by her devoted mother, Ellen Hoffmann, and her loving sister, Nicolle Hoffmann. Her family was her greatest source of joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her family, Kristyna leaves behind a close-knit community of friends, including her loyal best friend Alexandra, and her dutiful boyfriend Kenneth, who will remember her for her kindness, humor, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. She had a talent for bringing people together and always offered a listening ear, and a fun time.
Though her time with us was far too short, Kristyna’s legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her courage in the face of adversity, and for the grace with which she lived her life.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 3rd from 2-5 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. There will be a reception at Downey's Bar & Grill to follow.
