Patricia Alden Medla

October 31, 2024 Jeffrey Wiecek

Patricia Alden Medla passed away suddenly on October 31st 2024 in her home. "Scree", "Baby Pee Pee" daughter of Kristine Alden Margaritis and John Adam Medla (deceased) is survived by her mother (Kristine), sisters (Taylor Marie Rizzo and Tiffany Alden Rizzo) and her grandmother (Beverly Alden Margaritis).  Patricia was born on 10/21/2005 in White Plains, NY. Patricia grew up in Tarrytown, New York most of her life and always resided with her mom and two sisters.

Patricia was attending the EMT program at Dutchess College and was expected to graduate December 2024. Her plan was to move into the city and go on to be a paramedic to help others.

Growing up, Patricia always enjoyed summer camp and going to the Bronx zoo. She loved all the animals we had as if they were her own. Patricia loved to swim and she always enjoyed going out  to eat at the diner.

Patricia was so loved by her family and others and her memory will always be kept alive.

"And now I'm supposed to learn to live without you. I'm supposed to have a hole in my heart forever where you once were and somehow learn to let it live with me"

"You were bigger than the sky, you were more than just a short time"

 -p.s.

Wake will be on Friday, November 8th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx, NY 10471. Prayer service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel at 5:30 pm. Committal will be private.
