Ángel Roberto Zevallos, Age 92 of New York City, NY passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
He was a native of Arequipa, Peru and the son of the late Julia Casquino and Emilio Zevallos. He enjoyed watching sport on his 75" TV, talking with his African Grey Parrot named Gregorio. He lived a full life and was cared for by his sister Nelly and son Arturo until his departure from this world.
Roberto, as he was called, is survived by his children Luis Arturo Zevallos, Isabel Zevallos and Rosa Zevallos. His sisters, Nelly Zevallos, Maria Salcero and Luzmila Mayor. Roberto was predeceased by his sister Graciela Zevallos Casquino who passed away 3 days later on June 6 2021. He was also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
The viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home 6110 Riverdale Ave Bronx, NY 10471. A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. St. Margaret of Cortona at 6000 Riverdale Ave Bronx, NY 10471, with the Burial immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery 114 Sprain Road Yonkers, NY 10710.
