Marie Cassiere passed away peacefully on the evening of August 17, 2020. Born on December 11, 1933 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marianna Gaudio. A longtime Riverdale resident Marie and her husband own Cora Housewares for 40 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Patrick. Marie was devoted to her family and is lovingly remembered by her daughter Patricia Cassiere, Grandson Mark Sternefeld his wife Deanna and her three great grandchildren Marianna, Marissa and Mark. Marie is survived by her sister Josephine Annunziata and pre-deceased by sisters Amelia Morreale, Anna Salese and Antoinette Mutarelli. Marie will be sadly missed by both relatives and friends.
