Reilly, Winifred (nee Glennon) passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020; native of Kilcolumb, Williamstown, Co Galway, Ireland, formerly of the Bronx (Riverdale). Beloved wife of the late James. Cherished mother of Margaret, James, Sheila, and the late Michael (FDNY). Also survived by seven loving grandchildren: Bernadette, Michael, Colleen, Kerry, Catherine, Fiona, and James.
Our mom always said, "you have your faith and family." Every night she prayed for family and friends, especially those suffering from ailments and departed loved ones. Mom said prayers of thanks for the health and well being of all.
She was an animal lover who took much joy in caring for her own pets and those of others.
Mom lived a life full of kindness, unconditional love, and thoughtfulness. She will be remembered for her love and generous heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Reposing Tuesday 2-6 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery..
