Lynn Tagliaferro, age 62, of New York, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family, following her battle with cancer. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving her is her loving husband Richard Tagliaferro, daughters Lisa Tagliaferro and Patricia Tagliaferro; son James Tagliaferro and her other daughter Augustina Cortes from her previous marriage. Also surviving her is her brother Charlie Stamp and sister Lorrie Stamp.

Lynn loved to travel with her family. Taking vacations everywhere from Florida to Maine, Canada to Hawaii to California and everywhere in between. She also loved to play bingo every week with her mother in law Joan Tagliaferro. One of her favorite places to go was Bear Mountain or High Point for a cookout or a picnic. She also loved to go swimming and riding her favorite roller coaster Nitro, and spending time in Seabright New Jersey at the beach house.

Lynn had many different jobs in life including driving the Safari train at the Bronx zoo, but will most be remembered for taking care of her nieces and nephews. She loved children so much and enjoyed caring for them.

Lynn’s passing leaves a void. She was loved by everyone and was a beautiful person inside and out. She was taken way too young, our family is heartbroken.

Family wake Monday May 4th 2020 from 2-4 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY.
