Eileen Quinn passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018. Native of Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late Pat. Dear mother of Tom (Donna) and Patrick. Doting grandmother of Emma and Olivia. Devoted sister of Danny and Bridie. She is also survived by dozens of nieces, nephews and other close relatives.
Eileen emigrated to the United States in the early 60’s and embraced her new home. She and her husband Pat never lost their love of Ireland and traveled back regularly. Eileen nurtured lifelong friendships on both sides of the Atlantic. She loved entertaining and was known for hosting lavish meals for family and friends. Eileen will always be remembered for her generosity, loyalty and sense of humor. She was a woman of strong faith and had a special affinity for St. Anthony.
Reposing Sunday, September 30th 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bx. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday October 1st 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
