Bridget "Bridie" Monaghan passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018. She was born on April 28, 1936 to Daniel and Nora Coriam in Kiltullagh, Glenamaddy, County Galway, Ireland. Dear sister of Patrick and James Coriam (deceased), Margaret Coriam ( a resident of Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Ossining, NY). Bridie came to New York in 1957 and later married James Monaghan in 1960. James predeceased Bridie in 1997. Bridie lived in Yonkers until 2015 when she moved to
Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She had worked as a home health aid while raising her 2 children. Loving mother of Jeanette Stein (Alan) born August 1961 and Jay Monaghan (June) born July 1965. Cherished grandmother of Jack Monaghan (21), Kelly Monaghan (19) and Bradley Stein (19).
Reposing Monday February 12, 2018 from 4- 9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 9:45 am February 13th at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
