Ann Marie Mauro, 86, of Riverdale, NY passed away at home on Christmas day, December 25, 2018. Ann Marie worked most of her entire career at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company (PPG) for over 30 years until her retirement in 1989 as office manager. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary and Bohumil Jedlicka and her husband, Vincent Mauro. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Suzanne Mauro of Riverdale, Bronx, NY, her cousins Joan, Charlie and Kathy of Florida and Ohio, and a loving circle of friends and neighbors.
Ann Marie was a devout Catholic, deeply religious and spiritual and a parishioner at St. Gabriel's Church in Riverdale. She enjoyed being a "money counter" at the church and their wonderful trips throughout the year. She will always be remembered for her kindness, selflessness towards others, great advice, loving heart and her love of family and God.
Reposing on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 AM at St. Gabriel's Church, 3250 Arlington Avenue, Bronx, NY. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
