Andrew Michael Sandler, passed away on August 5, 2017, Andrew is the loving son of Sandra (nee" Wallach") and the late Albert Sandler. Beloved brother of Stephanie Sandler, brother-in- law of Elizabeth Kountzman and nephew of Yvette Sandler and Ronald Wallach. Born in New York City in 1986 and lived his entire life in Riverdale, New York. Graduated from Manhattan College with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy. For six years, he worked as the Director of Community Affairs and Constituent Services for City Council members Oliver Koppell and Andrew Cohen in Riverdale. Most recently, he was District Manager for Community Board 7. He loved working for his Bronx community. Trying to help people and do what was right. There will be a Service at The Riverdale Temple, 4545 Independence Avenue, Bronx NY Monday August 7th 2017 at 10:00 am. Andrew will be laid to rest with his father and grandparents.
