The death has occurred of John Henry, The Bronx and formally of Loughrea, Co. Galway Ireland on the 19th August 2017 at White Plains Hospital, New York. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Evelyn, his son Jason, granddaughter Alma, daughter in law Thea, sisters Nuala (Meade), Geraldine (Henry Hassett), Jacki and brother Jim, nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, grand nieces, cousins, colleagues at White Plains Hospital and large circle of friends and neighbors and his loyal dog Bella.
Reposing at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, The Bronx, New York on Wednesday 23rd August from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass 9:45 am Thursday at St Margaret of Cortona Church, Riverdale NY followed by cremation ceremony at Woodlawn Crematorium, Bronx NY.
Funeral service in Ireland - John’s ashes will be taken back to Ireland. His funeral mass will take place at St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea Co. Galway, Ireland at 12 noon on Saturday 2nd September. Burial afterwards in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
