Thomas (Tommy) Bohan passed on the evening of May 16, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife and siblings. Tommy was born in the Bronx in 1960 to John and Ellen (McGovern) Bohan. He was a devoted husband to Christine (Roche) to whom he was married to for 28 years. He leaves behind siblings, John (Athena), Bridget (Wesley), Ann, Mary, Ellen, and Peter. His brother Francis pre-deceased him in 2007. His parents John and Ellen pre-deceased to him in 1989. He is also survived by a loving mother in-law Eileen Roche, father in-law Thomas Roche, and brother in-laws Daniel and Michael Roche. Thomas was an amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews: Christian, Karen, William, Lauren Lena, Kaitlyn, Margaret, John, and Aidan and grand uncle to Leah. Many childhood friends from Riverdale NY and many close friends from Buffalo NY will miss him dearly. Thomas worked as a Computer Analyst in the Banking Industry. Thomas affectionately known as “Smiley” lived a full and abundant life. His love for his wife, family, and friends. Outside of his love for his wife and family were the Dallas Cowboys, New York Rangers, and the New York Yankees. Thomas was a die heart fan of the Grateful Dead. Thomas will lie in the repose Friday May 19th from 5-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY, 10471. Mass of Christin Burial Saturday 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Internment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY.
