Dennis F. Sullivan passed away after a prolonged illness. He was the son of the late John J. Sullivan and Rose Mary née (Murphy) Sullivan. He was the devoted brother of John J. Sullivan and the late James W. Sullivan.

He is survived by his brother John, his wife Maria Ozenita Sullivan, and his niece, Adriana and nephew, Sean Sullivan. He is also survived by his niece, Erin Sullivan and nephew, James Sullivan; the daughter and son of the late James Sullivan and Gail Sullivan.

In life, Dennis Sullivan was an Ironworker and survivor of the 9/11 crisis. Dennis was an avid sports fan and loved following the sport of horse racing. His life and his humor brought happiness to his family and friends.

Reposing Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 2 - 6 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial 9 am Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Church of the Good Shepard, 4967 Broadway, New York, NY 10034. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY where he will be laid to rest next to his mother, Rose M. Sullivan.
