Michael Regan "MICK"

On the afternoon of Thursday, February 22 Michael Regan "MICK" passed away surrounded by family and friends.

Micheal was the fifth of six children.  Born on January 22, 1964 to the late Kathleen (nee Carolan) and John Regan in upper Manhattan.  Michael was a great brother to the late Mary Callaghan and John Regan.  He left behind his sister, Noreen Leggiero and his brothers Terry and Brendan Regan.  He was a loving brother in law to Neil Callaghan, Mark Leggiero and Kathleen (Kelly) Regan.  He was adored by his nieces and nephews Anthony, Michael and Kelley Leggiero.  Brendan (Sara), Grace (Jhon Liranzo), Elizabeth (Jimmy) and Angelagh Regan.  He also loved his great niece McKenna Regan.

Michael was employed for over 30 years at Liberty Lines bus company.  He was an avid New York Yankees fan and had extensive knowledge of all sports.  he was a proud member of the Lud-Dale Association in Yonkers for 25 years, where he loved to spend time with his friends.  Michael loved all kinds of music, going to concerts was one of his favorite past times.  Michael wore his Irish heritage with great pride.  He loved to listen to Irish bands and would burst out a tune every now and again.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Michaels memory to the Lud-Dale Association 240 Riverdale Ave. Yonkers, New York 10705.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471. Committal private.
