Patricia A. (Pat) Kitson (nee Spalding) left us on October 23, 2024 at the age of 72. Pat was born and raised in the Inwood section of Manhattan and attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Elementary School and Cathedral High School. On April 20, 1974 it was a “magic moment“ when she married her late husband John J. Kitson. Pat was a loving mother to Bridget and Johnny, cherished mother in law to Rob and Nicole and devoted Nana to Owen, Declan, Gavin and John (Wubba). She was a dear Aunt to John, Michael, Adam, Scott, Greg and Lara. She is predeceased by her father Sidney, mother Mary and brothers Michael and Johnny. She leaves behind many friends including her beloved “Post “Girls”, her Academy street “family” and so many colleagues from her 49 year career at Verizon. Pat was a longtime resident of Waldo Gardens and a fond neighbor to many.
Reposing Tuesday, October 29th 2-8 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 30th 10:30 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY
