Stephen Sancho, 36, of the Bronx, New York passed away suddenly on April 17, 2023. Stephen was born on June 11, 1986 to Robert Sancho and Linda Houlihan in the Bronx, New York.
Stephen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching sports, most importantly the New York Yankees and New York Jets, and having a good laugh over an ice cold beer. His wide array of knowledge, ranging from music to wrestling and UFC, made him a sought after trivia team member. More recently, Stephen enjoyed testing his culinary skills and cooking up a good meal. He will be remembered for his loving heart, quick wit, and strong opinions. Stephen’s friendship and loyalty will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Robert and Linda, and his older brother, Robert. He is also survived by extended family, countless close friends and his furry pal Bon Bon.
A wake will be held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home located at 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Stephen’s life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church located at 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne N.Y.
