For years Antoinette nourished and watched an entire generation grow up as she managed the cafeteria for the city of NY mainly at St. Johns School. She was born in the Bronx and was a wonderful wife to her childhood sweetheart Kenneth.
Antoinette was a loving mother to Bill, MaryAnn and Judy as well as a grandmother and great grandmother to many. She enjoyed traveling, most recently with her lifelong best friend Minnie Flannigan. She loved music and to dance. Antoinette never met a stranger and her zest for life was contagious. Antoinette’s sole desire throughout her life was to have her children close beside her.
She will be greatly missed but we are comforted to know she is in the arms of the blessed mother.
A wake will be held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, located at 6110 Riverdale Ave Bronx, NY from 2 to 5 pm on Wednesday March 1st, 2023. Antoinette’s life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church at 754 East Gunhill Road, Bronx NY at 10:00 am on Thursday March 2, 2023. Entombment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx NY.
