Yolanda Gabriel, age 87, of Bronx, NY, passed away on December 13, 2023. She was born in Washington Heights, NYC to John and Ginevra Mattioli. Yolanda was preceded by death by her wonderful husband, Angelo and four siblings. Yolanda is survived by her son, John and her sister, Diana LaSpisa. Also, by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. All of whom adored her.
Yolanda will always be remembered for being loving and extremely generous. We will always imagine her saying, “How’s my hair?” or “Did you eat?” one more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better mom, sister, aunt or friend. We will miss her every day and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her.
Reposing December 20, 2023 from 10 am to 1:00 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home at 6110 Riverdale Avenue Bronx, NY. Interment follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hasting-on-Hudson, New York.
