Mary Bernadette O’Connor (nee Toner)

Mary Bernadette O’Connor (nee Toner) entered eternal life on September 3, 2022 at the age of 92.

Mary Bernadette was born on June 29, 1930 in Dublin, Ireland to James Toner and Louisa Toner (nee Flynn). Mary Bernadette came to the United States and settled in the Bronx. She worked for many years at Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York City. She was deeply proud of her Irish heritage and participated in St. Patrick’s Day parades and celebrations. She was a devout Catholic who had a strong devotion to the Sacred Heart. Mary Bernadette was a loving and patient friend to all.

She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas O’Connor, in 2006 and is survived by many family members both in the United States and abroad. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mary Bernadette’s memory to a charity of your choice.
