William E. Langdon

April 12, 2022 Jeffrey Wiecek

Langdon, William E. (Bill) passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022.  Born on July 8, 1951 in the Bronx, NY he was the beloved son of the deceased Sally (O’Neill) and Edward Langdon.  Bill is survived by his loving siblings JoEllen O’Callaghan, Colleen McCrudden, Christopher and MaryJean and his six nephews and nieces Liam O’Callaghan, Neil O’Callaghan, Regan (O’Callaghan) Hourigan, Keira McCrudden, Brian McCrudden, Sarah McCrudden and by his longtime friend, Margaret Maloney.  He was also predeceased by his loving brothers-in-law John O’Callaghan and John McCrudden.

Bill worked for many years as a Sales Manager at a gymnasium sports flooring company in Westchester and in Riverdale at various restaurants throughout the years.

Bill was a graduate of All Hallows High School in 1969 and from Iona College.  He leaves behind his many close friends.  Bill spent many summers at the Jersey Shore playing softball as a proud member of The Hurtin’ Cowboys.

Bill was a joy to be around by all who knew him because of his easygoing manner and sense of humor He was a huge NY Jets and Mets fan since his teen years.

Visitation will be on Monday from 3-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 am St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
