Robert McAllister, age 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 17, 2022. Loving son of the late Robert and Kate. Beloved husband to Christine (Falvey) and father to Michael, Kevin, Anne-Marie Treanor and her husband Patrick, Maureen (deceased) and Christine McEvoy and her husband Brian. He is predeceased by two brothers John and Jim and sister Kathleen and is survived by three sisters, Rose, Theresa and Ann. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joseph and his wife Caroline, Lisa, Laura (deceased), Steven and his wife Ciara, Kevin and Margaret. He is also a great-grandfather to five children, Aiden, Jude, April, Conor and Winter.
Robert was a long-time member of Metro-North Railroad.
He will be fondly remembered and will forever be in our hearts.
Family will receive friends Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3-6pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, November 21, 2022 at 9:45am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10471. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery (private).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
