It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret McCarthy on June 25, 2021 at the age of 98. She is survived by her children Mary (Denis), Tim, Joseph (Marilyn) and Michael; Her son-in-law Michael; Her grandchildren Michelle (John), Michael (Laura), Bobby (Allyson), Laura, Sean (Kelly), Travis (Cassandra), Kelcey, Ryan; Her Great-grandchildren Michael, James and Kira. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph; her daughter Margaret; her daughter-in-law Joanne; her grandson Shawn.

Margaret was loved by everyone who met her. She truly loved her life to the fullest by simple pleasures; time with family, chatting with friends, spending time at the beach, and going to her exercise classes. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Family, friends and others whose lives Margaret touched are invited to the Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY, from 4-7 on Monday, June 28, 2021. A mass of Christian burial will be held at ST. MARGARET OF CORTONA CHURCH at 9:45 am on June 29, 2021. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
