Mary Moynihan, (nee Hussey) passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, she leaves behind a loving son Thomas (Mary), and three grandchildren Elizabeth, Daniel and Matthew.
Mary was born in Candeehy Maharees, Co. Kerry Ireland to Edward and Mary Hussey, one of five siblings. She was predeceased by her loving brothers John, Patrick and Thomas in Ireland. Beloved sister of Ellen residing in Ireland.
Mary arrived in America in 1951 and started her life’s journey living in New York city before eventually settling in the Bronx, and raising a family. She worked for Prentice Hall and Simon & Schuster from where she retired.
Mary was a life long parishioner of Visitation Parish. She will be forever remembered as a kind gentle woman.
