Helen O’Sullivan 95 of Yonkers, NY,
Died Tuesday (February 11, 2020) at Villa Marie Claire hospice residence in Saddle River, NJ. She was born in Bronx NY where she raised her family and lived most of her life. She moved to the Five Star Independent Living Residence in 2014.
Along with being a devoted wife and mother, Helen worked for the New York Telephone Co. and through its many stages of growth, retiring from Verizon in 1986. She was an active member in The Pioneers. She enjoyed family, traveling, puzzles, and rummy cube.
She was predeceased by her husband Jeremiah, daughter Kathleen, and son John. Surviving her are her daughter Barbara and partner Marge of Jersey City, NJ; three grandchildren, Megan O’Sullivan, Forte Wayne, IN, Sean O’Sullivan, Shanghai, China; Deanna Otero and her husband Raphael, Brooklyn, NY; four great grandchildren, August, Erinyse, Beatrice, and Norrin.
