Harry W. McMaster, Sr.

Harry W. McMaster, Sr., 90, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Born in New York City, he lived in the Bronx until moving to Point Pleasant in 2012. Harry worked as a firefighter for the City of New York and retired in 1991 after thirty-two years of service. He was a United States Navy veteran and loved spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Ellen O’Sullivan McMaster; son, John McMaster; brother, Ernest McMaster; and sister, Gloria Knowles.

Surviving are his second wife, Patricia Flynn McMaster; his sons, Harry W. McMaster, Jr. and wife, Tara of the Bronx and Donald McMaster and wife, Sheila of Hartsdale, NY; his daughters, Kathleen Kaminsky and husband, Constantin Tsavos of Oceanside, NY, Eileen McMaster and James Grillo of Babylon, NY, and Noreen Sabia and husband, Sean of Ardsley, NY; and his six grandchildren, Lauren, John, Spencer, Austin, Dylan, and Danielle. Also surviving are Pat’s sons, Edward Flynn and wife, Melanie and Gerard Flynn; daughters, Theresa Snyder and husband, Al, and Catherine Sternberg and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Amy, Beth, Audrey, Heather, and Kelly; and great- grandchildren, Elizabeth, Baylee, and Carmen.

Visitation will be from 3 – 6 p.m., on Friday November 13 at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY. (Facial coverings are required and adherence to social distancing will be in effect.)

Funeral Liturgy on Saturday November 14 at 10:00 am at Saint Gabriel Church, 3250 Arlington Avenue, Bronx, NY. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY .
