Marie V. Lynch died on Saturday, February 22, 2019 at Montefiore Medical Center, after a short illness. Marie was a lifelong resident of Riverdale, spending her summers enjoying the beach at Breezy Point with her many friends and relatives. After graduating from Fordham and Columbia Universities, Marie enjoyed a rewarding career as a pediatric physical therapist. She will be remember by all as the nicest person they ever met.
Marie is survived by her brother Kevin (Ann Bradley) her sister Christine Ivins (Steve) her nieces Erin Savitsky, and Elaine Smith, her nephews Neil and Jeffery Ivins and her beloved grand nephews and niece.
There will be a memorial gathering at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY, on Sunday March 3, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Cortona Church at 9:45 AM on Monday March 4, 2019. In lieu of flower, donations should be made to God’s Love We Deliver.
