Thomas Michal Connolly passed away on Friday November 22. Thomas was born on December 11, 1942 in the Bronx, N.Y. He is survived by his wife Barbara, two sons Brian and Sean, daughters-in-law Robin and Rachel, brother, Kevin, three grandchildren Hayden, Emma and Hannah, and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by this parents, Margret “Peggy” Connolly and Thomas Joseph Connolly, Jr.
Thomas graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and studied at the School of Visual Arts. He served with honor in the U.S. Air Force as a medic.
He worked for some time in the insurance industry before combining his passion of the arts and military history, and began painting and selling miniature figures for specialized stores in NYC, private collectors, and institutions. Later he established a business with his son Brian, in video production and editing.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Cortona Church on Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 9:45am.
The family will receive family and friends at the Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY on Monday November 25, 2019 from 2-4pm and from 7-9pm.
