Jeanette Levan Perdomo, age 64 of New York, NY, passed November 18, 2019.

Jeanette was born to Phy and America Levan on July 14, 1955, in New York, NY. She graduated from and received an Associate’s Degree from New York University. She married Pedro Perdomo Jr. in 1989, and they lived together in Bronx, NY. Together they raised two children.

Jeanette was a systems analyst and computer programmer for several companies including Lehman Brothers until she became a stay-at-home mom in 1994 after the birth of her eldest daughter.

She leaves her husband of 30 years Pedro Perdomo Jr. and her two daughters Amelia Perdomo and Natasha Perdomo as her legacy. She also leaves to cherish her memory of five siblings: Manuel Colon, Alexander Levan, Eileen Colon-Merlo, Lawrence Levan, and Raymond Levan. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, and more to those who loved her. Her children remember her as a lover of bird-watching, gardening, and photography. She was also a whiz with numbers who had a knack for tutoring math to her daughters and their peers.

She was preceded in death by Phy Levan, Father and America Levan, Mother.

Jeanette was a truly gifted and caring person. Her varied talents in problem solving and family dynamics will be sorely missed.

The viewing and ceremony are scheduled for Thursday November 21, 2019 at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave, West 261st St. from 4 PM to 7 PM
