Vincent A. Apuzzo, Jr. (Vinnie), passed away peacefully on the early morning hours of January 12th, 2019 in his own home surrounded by family & friends. Vincent was born on September 1st, 1957 (age 61) in the Bronx, New York. He went on to study at Manhattan college, where shortly there after he became a member of the U.S. Postal service. In 1984 he married his wife Denise Apuzzo, they moved to Yorktown Heights, New York and began to raise their children Tiffany & Thomas Apuzzo. Vincent spent his life as a devoted father, loving husband, brother, and dear friend. He was a selfless man who truly cared about the way he made others feel, and spent his life giving back and leaving a smile behind wherever he went. As a father, brother, dear friend, and beloved son to the late Vivian and Vincent Apuzzo Sr. He will be sorely missed, and remembered by all who knew him as someone who made any room he walked into a brighter place.
The wake will be held on Tuesday, January 15th 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 16th 2019 at 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
