Longtime Riverdale resident Anna Moros passed away peacefully at home with her family and caregiver by her side on Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was born on May 5, 1931 to Peter Karadinos and Anastasia Kourakos in New York City. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years Tony Moros. She was loving mother to her three children Gregory Nieto, Denise Christmann and Stacey Filippou; adoring YiaYia to her eight grandchildren Jason, Michele, Nicolette, Alexis, Tiana, Toni-Anne, Travis, and Demi; great grandmother (Big YiaYia) to Kayla, Dylan, Mia, Azurae, Philip, Tony, Aiden and the late Ava. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts. The family wishes to extend its thanks to Anna’s aides Dielle and Fazie for their support in her final months.
Reposing Thursday March 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. Funeral services will be held at Prophet Elias Church in Yonkers on Friday March 23 at 10 am. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
