Marie J. Weisse, age 90, of Cape May passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home. Marie was born December 4, 1927 in Allentown, PA. and had resided in Riverdale, NY before moving to Cape May 12 years ago. Marie was preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years Edward J. Weisse, sisters Hermina Schilke and Roberta D’Agostino, brothers Joseph and John Keller and niece Stephanie Bialowasz. She is survived by her four daughters; Linda (Michael) Heaney, Norine (Thomas) Hopewell, Annmarie (Raymond) Mellor and Mary C. (Kenneth Wheeler) Weisse and a sister Eleanor Corcoran. She also leaves five loving grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Christina, Kevin and Jessica and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday February 25th from 3-5 PM and Monday February 26th from 8:30 to 10 AM at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave. Bronx, NY and Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday at Church of St. John-Visitation Church, 3021 Kingsbridge Avenue, Bronx, NY.
