Philip J. Dillon , on September 10, 2017, at the age of 73. Retired Stationary Engineer. Loving husband of Bridget. Devoted father of Michael, Philip, James and Tina, and father-in-law to Noreen, Kim and Dawn. Cherished grandfather of Patrick, Alana, Kenneth, Michael, Kieran, Aidan and Brendan. Beloved brother to Sr. Patricia Dillon, RJM, Lynn (Martin) and Michele (Frank) and brother-in-law to Ann (Pat), Patricia (Jim), Judy (Tom), Jack (Margaret), Helen, Nora (Martin), and Antoinette (Noel) and uncle to a multitude of nieces and nephews. Phil loved golfing and was always willing to offer constructive advice on anyone's golf swing. An avid Yankee fan, he coached little league for many years and was a league commissioner as well. He assisted in helping kids get off drugs in a DARE program, and never backed away from striving to make things right for any cause he thought needed to be fixed. Reposing at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home on Wednesday September 13 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday September 14 at 9:45 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
