Death Notice - PISCITELLI, Peter, of Bronx, NY, passed away on January 30, 2016, at the age of 85. Born and raised in the Bronx, Pete was a devoted husband and father, and a highy-respected public servant as a lawyer and lobbyist. His career dated back to service in the administrations of Mayors Robert F. Wagner, John V. Lindsay and Edward I. Koch, under whom he served as the city's chief representative in Albany as it dealt with the municipal fiscal crisis. He went on to a long career in private practice, representing such clients as the New York Hotel Association, the Broadway League of Theaters and the U.S.S. Intrepid. Pete is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances, and his son Anthony (Skip) Piscitelli. A wake will be held on Tuesday at the Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Friends may call on the family. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday at 9:45am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY. Burial at Calverton National Military Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, Pete's family suggests donations to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center or Calvary Hospital.
