Françoise Dupuy Frohlich

Death Notice - Françoise Dupuy Frohlich died peacefully on July 19, 2014.  She was born in Paris, France on July 1, 1923 and she came to the United States in 1948 with her husband, violinist Karel Frohlich. Françoise Frohlich was an accomplished classical pianist and gave concerts in the New York area until she fell ill in 2003.  She resided at Sky View Nursing Home, Croton-on-Hudson, NY since then. She was predeceased by her son, Jean-Claude Frohlich and her husband Karel Frohlich, and is survived by her daughters Nadine Iliev (Rumen) and Vivienne Courtney (Neal), her son Jean-Pierre Frohlich (Isabelle), her grandchildren Claudine Gopalan (Prem), Alen Iliev, Lilly, Spencer and Margaux Frohlich, and Caroline, Brian, John Paul (Rosanna) and Thomas Courtney, and her great-grandchildren Milan and Kiran Gopalan. Reposing Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY. The Christian Burial Service will be 10 am Friday at Christ Church Riverdale. Interment to follow Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx NY.
