Obituary Notice - Kitson, John J. died on March 28, 2014 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia (nee Spalding). Loving father of Bridget Black (Robert) and Johnny (Nicole). Devoted grandfather of Owen, Declan and Gavin. Dear brother of Jeanne and a fond uncle to many. Loving son of the late John J. and Mary (nee O'Driscoll). Retired MTA train operator and a lifetime member of the Bronx Emerald Society.

The wake was held Monday March 31, 2014 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday April 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home. The Mass Christian Burial was held Wednesday April 2, 2014 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. The interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
