A proud serviceman, Ed joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1985 and was deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Edmund also served his community as a decorated NYPD officer, a 9/11 first responder, well-known and well-liked, who achieved the rank of Sergeant before his retirement in 2012.

St. Vincent in the Bronx, and earned her Masters in Computer Science from Columbia University. Before her stroke in 2001, she was very active in Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, and the Irish Business Organization of New York (IBO). She is survived by her brother Denis and his wife & children, sister Noreen, and brother James and his wife & children, as well as many cousins and friends across the US and Ireland. She is at peace.
