Sweeney, Denis A. on March 18, 2014. Native of Cullen, Co. Cork, Ireland. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee McCarthy). Cherished brother of John, Sr. Eileen Sweeney of the Loretta Order and the late Mortimor and Margaret. Dear brother-in-law to Joan. Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.

The wake was held Thursday March 20, 2014 from 5-9 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday March 21, 2014 at St. Gabriel's Church. The interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
