The Reverend Carlos Lopez Acosta passed peacefully on March 17th, 2018 at the age of 82 at Edward Cardinal Egan Pavilion, St. John Vianney Clergy Residence in the Bronx, New York.

Father Lopez Acosta's wake will be held on Friday March 23, 2018 from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the O'Connor Residence Chapel in Riverdale, Bronx, New York.  The funeral Mass will follow at 10 am and will be held by his Eminence, Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York.
